Attention shareholders of cooperative housing: Cooperative Community Organization has been fighting for co-op shareholders’ rights in New York. We are trying to address the biggest problems the co-op movement is facing: 1. Insufficient laws in the State and City of New York concerning the rights of co-op shareholders 2. Lack of enforcement of the limited rights that we do have. 3. Ignorance by state or city offices (especially District Attorney and Attorney General) to our complaints.
