Attention supermarket shoppers: BE KIND. The holidays are here. Keep in mind they are everyones holidays. Not just yours. We are all stressed out, I assure you of that. Luckily, for you, I am here to try to make your day a little less stressful. I am here to greet you with a smile, to ask you how you are, even if my feet hurt and my eyes are sleepy. Im also here to work ON THE HOLIDAY. I will leave my family, so that your dinner will be perfect for yours. And I wont complain about it. So, please, be kind. I promise you, I did not lose the turkey tag of the customer in front of you JUST to put a damper on your day. I didnt forget to put a price in the system, just to make you wait a little longer. I didnt buy out the warehouses supply of canned cranberries JUST to ruin your side dish. When you yell at me, or roll your eyes, get irritated at the little things... Just remember I am just the bottom of the totem pole. I am just here to make money to provide for myself and my child. I am grateful to have a job, and I am here to do that job to the best of my ability, but I am not here to be a doormat. I will help you. But, I am not the help. Happy holidays.
