Attention to all that I love and care for.... Just because you have a contract with someone that you might know from a friend etc to do work, make sure you see all their license, credentials and get references and speak to them first before you have work done on your home. This is my 7th rehab and Ive had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the contractor....Im glad I have a contract and in writing but had ongoing problems ... No shows, Never showed up on time, never worked full days, left inexperienced people unsupervised to do more damage within my home and property only later to find out he didnt have a license for each of the things of electric, plumbing, hvac ...only a general contractors license which you can get f hall $200 at the city. But dont let that fool you, because they might try to go the work themselves without pulling permits or buy permits from another buddy to show up when the permit need to be pulled and inspector shows up. Never, never hire someone that doesnt have the correct credentials. Youd be chancing so much, you go to sell your house and have to have if all pulled out and done again, loss & damage to property and most importantly Loss of life!!!! This guy cut the electric and left 4 live wires in my home exposed. Buyer beware, just saying. Now that hes gone, I have to find extra money to get the job done correctly, safely and by code! At least my anxiety issues will be going away and not wondering when hes going to show up or if I leave for doctors appt that hell be gone when I get back ... No more having to hear excuses if why hes not here or cant do something .... vent in my houses .... Well
