Attitude. Mable Not Her Real Name was a hypochondriac. I worked at - TopicsExpress

Attitude. Mable Not Her Real Name was a hypochondriac. I worked at the same store with her when I was a teenager. She was healthier than a horse but thought she had every disease under the sun. She started almost every day by giving all of us an account in detail of her latest incurable, debilitating, deadly disease. I wonder if Mable Not Her Real Name had See There, I Told You I Was Sick engraved on her tombstone (although she might still be alive, she would be about 100 years old by now, still suffering greatly I am sure). On the other hand, recently I spoke to a guy who is facing chemo and radiation and told him how sorry I am about his situation. His reply: Im fine. And I will be fine. Pray for my wife she is so worried about me. I spoke to a lady a couple days ago who had recently been diagnosed with cancer and she happily quoted dozens of verses of Scripture to me and cheered Me up! I saw another lady and her husband at the church yesterday doing some ministry work. She has fought drastic health issues for the last few years including cancer, stroke, and partial blindness, and I had heard that there has been another severe complication. When I ask about it she simply said Oh yeah, but how are you doing? And our sweet Sarah, how is she doing. I pray for you all every day. We love you both so much. Tell me about Blu and Wendy and those precious kids... She refused to complain. Now, what is the difference between Mable Not Her Real Name and these other three? One word--ATTITUDE. You cannot control everything that happens to you in life, but you can choose your Attitude. A Good One is the road that miracles travel on. Do good today.
