Auditions for Chasing Moonshine Adapted from the book by Raymond L.F. Johnson with James Van Eaton Show runs 1st 3 weekends in November, 2014 CAST SHERIFF ROBISON, an active lawman in his mid-30s who enforces the law with a sense of humor, intense intelligence and hidden sensitivity. AGENT LOU FRY, an opportunistic, personable, good-ol-boy, FBI agent on the take, who enforces the Police Departments unwritten Blue Code. AGENT TAYLOR, idealistic, newly graduated FBI agent, fresh from D.C. JOE HUBER, a poor, farm boy with a nervous stutter. ELMER JORGENSON, a wiry, 17 year old farm boy of medium build. MINDA JORGENSON, a slender, curious, intelligent farm girl who prefers being outside-a bit of a tomboy. Ages from 12 to 16 years old between Act I and Act II. GARDA JORGANSON, a gentle, yet spunky, farm girl who enjoys cooking and domestic duties. Ages from 11 to 15 years old between Act I and Act II. CARL JORGANSON, a very active, sensitive, imaginative boy who loves dogs. He ages from 7 to 11 years old between Act I and Act II. JOHANNA (MAMA) JORGENSON, a sturdy, motherly farm-woman in her mid thirties. First generation Norwegian immigrant. Speaks with a heavy Norwegian accent. GOTTFRIED (PAPA) JORGENSON, a tall, powerfully built, charismatic farmer in his mid thirties, with a compelling, rough hewn appearance and piercing blue eyes. CLAY BILFORD, an older foreman and jazz musician involved in Papas bootlegging operation and construction business. ORV HARRISON, an educated workman and jazz musician, involved in Papas bootlegging operation and construction business. GIL JACOBS, a good-humored, workman involved in Papas bootlegging operation and construction business. BILL MACON, the older, good-humored and worldly-wise owner of Macons General Store and Grocery. DEL, the world-weary owner and bartender of The Great Fire Club and Night Spot. MISS MOLLY MALONE, a voluptuous, bar singer. MAXWELL VANDERLINDEN III, a wealthy, Dutch playboy with a taste for high times, fast women and fancy cars. MR. OSTER, an older German farmer, friend and neighbor of the Jorgenson family. MISS MARTHA OSTER, an unmarried, German farm-woman in her late twenties. She is Mr. Osters daughter and Mamas closest friend. BONES, a young, small, white terrier-mix. Auditioning Wednesday, September 17, 6:00-7:30 and Saturday, September 20th, 4:00-6:00PM All auditions held at our rented performance facility @ 800 Reading Street, in Folsom.
