August 25th 2003 taught me to seize the day! It was 10 years ago today that I went into Cardiac Arrest due to a severe Asthma attack & an episode of Anaphylactic shock and was placed on Life Support. It was a scary but defining moment for me. When I came to it the next morning and the doctors took me off the ventilator it was as if I awaking to a new life & the first words I could think to say were "THANK YOU." Although it was scary for family & friends, it was the most awakening & beautiful experience for me. It change my perspective on life completely. So today I celebrate, everyday. I encourage you to do the same. Spend time with the people you love, tell them what they mean to you, be wild & free, take a trip, take a nap, indulge & enjoy something or someone. Life is precious!
