August 3rd – Since 2007, 13 major U.S. newspapers have gone under. 20 others have cut frequency or only offer online editions. Last week this was in a New Haven Register editorial: “the same basic message that the KKK has promoted for 148 years is embraced by the likes of Ted Nugent, Fox News (and) Ann Coulter” No one there received as much as a slap on the wrist. The next day O visited TN to give his umpteenth jobs speech. Chattanooga Free Press editor Drew Johnson wrote an opinion piece titled: “Take your jobs plan and shove it, Mr. President: Your policies have harmed Chattanooga enough.” Johnson was fired two days later. More examples of the print media believing free speech applies only for libs. Finally, in 1993 the NY Times bought the equally lib Boston Globe for $1.1 billion. The Times just sold it for only $70 million. Ouch! Drew M. from “Ace of Spades” writes: “From the genius minds who want to tell everyone else how the economy should be run.” Hah! Not much to cheer about these days but here’s something: The traditional lib media is dying!
