Aunt Jacki posted the other day that she had a piano, free to a good home. I used to play and Joey has been teaching himself, so I decided to adopt it. My late father-in-law has really been the only person that has played this particular piano in years, and was certainly the last person to play it since last year. George was a very talented pianist. Well, I rented a U-Haul and Joey and his buddy Kyle were my movers. Make no mistake...we know nothing about moving a piano, and the photo below is NOT how we left this piano before closing the truck. At one point while driving, we heard a thud, and my heart sank. I was sure we had damaged it. But no worries, because Pap always believed in angels, and it is crystal clear to me that Pap rearranged the piano so it would make the rest of the 15 mile ride safely. When we opened the back of the truck, the piano was exactly nestled between two dollies, an EXACT fit. Thank you Pap, for watching over this family heirloom!! It is old and has lots of character...I will treasure it greatly 💙💙💙
