Aunt Kay Jaggers Roth gave me the number nine, so here are nine things you probably didnt know about me. Like this status and Ill assign you a number. 1. I didnt graduate High School.I dropped out in May of my senior year and I got my GED in October 2005. 2. In the 2nd grade, I convinced Nick Turner during a soccer game on the playground that my middle name was George. He bought it for about a week until my mom, Pat Johanson Brookfield set him straight one day after school. I was so mad at her! 3. I had a massive crush on Andrea Schoonovers brother back in the 4th grade, but who didnt? :-P 4. I met my husband in eighth grade math class, but we didnt get together until freshman year when Kathleen Specht decided I needed a boyfriend, looked around the room in Spanish class and decided that Anthony Ray Tirado was a good choice for me. She facilitated the whole official meet and greet via a note. It went something to the tune of My friend thinks youre cute. Would you be willing to go on a date with her? Check yes or no. At the time I was deeply embarrassed. Now, 17 years later, Im so glad he checked yes! 5. I had a mullet for about 5 minutes during one of Tonys deployments. I rushed back to the hairdresser and cut it super short to compensate. Sometimes you should NOT listen to the pregnancy hormones. 6. I HATE Halloween. 7. My daughters are both named after people who had a huge influence in my young life. Theresa is named after Teresa Gibbs (my sisters special education teacher) and Chelsea is named after Chelsie Dusky (a friend who showed me its okay to embrace who you are, even when who you are is really, really weird.) :-) 8. Im still traumatized from Bambi and I cant watch it. Seriously. 9. I cant watch Spongebob now that I no longer have a drinking problem.
