Auntie Gretchen came to visit today, so Quincy got to have a lil adventure! He took his 1st car ride to TRACTOR SUPPLY CO. (TSC) He was impressed with their clothing selection in his size, but realized he didnt have shoes to match. He saw stuffed horses and all sorts of toys. He cheeped and trilled while Mama and Auntie Gretchen ooohed and ahhhed over the chicken stuff they had. Quincy was a lil embarassed when Mama insisted that someone working in the store should contact the corporate office and tell them to put the large stuffed chicken toys out for Christmas and not just in springtime for Chick Days. He found a really cool swing in the wild bird section. It was built for 2, so he wondered if CamelyaLou or WynifredRose would like a lil porch swing to rest in and share an apple. Then he got tickled when his Mama grabbed the DE and proclaimed,this stuff fixes everything! Quincy is so happy she doesnt really believe that. He hates it when he sneezes on his own and that stuff sounds plum awful!! Quincy got lots of funny looks, but people were mainly curious about him and what kind of animal he was. Quincy met some really nice folks. His favorite were a lil boy and girl who couldnt have been older than 3. He loved the way their faces lit up when they smiled. Their lil dimpled hands were so gentle. Quincy had never seen lil humans before. They didnt scare him one bit. On the way home, Quincy got a lil cat nap in Mamas lap while she and Auntie Gretchen sipped on something called coffee. It was an eggcellent adventure!
