Aunty bought a toy puppy that sang, talked, and lit up. She bought this for baby Joseph (my cousins baby boy). Unfortunately while Aunty Ofelia was on facebook she saw the exact puppy in a picture with baby Joseph playing with it. She hadnt kept the receipt, so we looked for a toys for tots bin in the Springs. We had searched two places where we knew they had toy bins but they had already been taken away (it was too near to Christmas). We were passing by walmart when we saw two people, one with oxygen in a wheelchair, the other (her son) was holding a sign saying anything helps. Aunty and i give out subway gift cards to the homless and needy, so we pulled over to give them the cards. The man came up to are car and thanked us, then said he was glad he could bring them to his kids. Aunty and i perked up at this and we asked him how old his children were. He said he had a 20 year old, and.....a baby boy a little over a year old! Quickly i pulled the toy from behind my seat any offered it to the man. He beamed with pleasure and ran to his mother in the wheelchair, he pulled it out of the bag to show her. She broke out into a smile, bought her hands to her face and you could see the tears in her eyes. As we drove past them she mouthed thank you, thank you, thank you. It was as though God had planned it, we werent ment to put that toy puppy in a bin, it was ment for that family, and there little boy.
