Aurora Training are holding an Emergency First Aid At Work Course on 21 October in Sleaford. This is a 1 day course particularly useful for persons in low-risk and smaller workplaces, where a nominated person is required to take charge in the event of illness or accident. Where an employers risk assessment of first aid need identifies that a First Aider is not necessary, but the minimum requirement is to appoint a person to take charge of the first aid arrangements. This course is also ideal for larger organisations where fully qualified First Aiders can benefit from the support of an Appointed Person. The qualification is valid for 3 years. The cost of the Course is £50.00 and the Awarding Body is the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
