Austin’s 1st Muslim Singles Networking Event – Sunday, February 16th 2014, starting at 1:15pm CST at the Wells Branch Community Center We’ve been getting a lot of questions from interested parties, parents, siblings and community leaders so I’ve prepared a quick and easy reference guide to address some of your urgent questions and concerns: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Is this February event for 18-35 year olds only? Yes. We have another event coming up in the Summer here in Austin for all those 35 and older. Please register for both events by contacting Team Melissa at austinmuslimmatrimonials@gmail I am a Muslim. This is a Muslim event. Can I get the Muslim-discount, bhai/akhi? No! There is no Muslim discount!! It’s a free event but to help us cover our costs, we are asking EVERYONE to donate a minimum of $25 if you are planning to attend this 4-hour fun, informative and interactive event. You can pay through PayPal, Mail or In-person. Contact Team Melissa for details. Can I make a donation of any amount? Yes, we will happily accept any donation amount; whether or not you are attending this event or if you’d just like to support/sponsor this community program. We have people giving up their time and energy every day putting all of this this together and some are paying for supplies, rental costs, food and decorations out of their own pockets so any help would be greatly appreciated and warmly welcome! There are two addresses for the Wells Branch Comm Cntr. Which one do I go to? The Community Center where our event will be held is located is at 2106 Klattenhoff Drive, Austin, Texas 78728. The other address, 3000 Shoreline Drive, is their office address, which is normally closed on the weekends. Please call me at 512.913.1811 if you end up at the wrong address (they are just 5 minutes apart from each other). What if I can’t be physically present at this event? You can email or snail mail us your profile (name, email address, picture, education, profession, etc.) and we will post it on the two giant bulletin boards that we will put up in the hall (one for the men, one for the women). Or your family can come by the event venue and drop them off with the organizers between 11am and 1pm. Can my parents attend this event? Parents and guardians will be allowed to drop off or escort you inside but they cannot stay and attend, unfortunately. Round Rock Outlet Center, Tinseltown Pflugerville Movie Theatre and Wells Branch Community Park are just a few minutes from our venue so please ask them to entertain themselves for a few hours while you get your groove on! This is a request that we received from most of the attendees. Im sure you have a lot more questions, so please call me at 512.913.1811 (cell)! Please see earlier email with all the details: Im happy to say that we are almost at full capacity, alhamdulillah!
