Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology New South Wales TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for LARGE HAILSTONES and HEAVY RAINFALL For people in parts of the Northern Rivers, Illawarra, North West Slopes and Plains and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts. Issued at 8:22 pm Monday, 24 March 2014. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Wollongong, Moree, Kyogle, Tabulam, Drake and Mallanganee. 55mm of rain in 30 minutes was recorded at Cronulla South Bowling Club at 240pm and 64mm in 1 hour at Audley [Royal National Park] at 253pm.
