Mrs. Olushola Anjorin Date: 31st August 2014 text: DISCIPLINE OF THE FAITH Text: 2 Corinthians 4; 13 We having the spirit of faith according as it is written I believed and therefore have I spoken; we also believed and therefore speak Faith is absolute expression of confidence in God. It is the action you take based on the instruction from the word of God. The behavior you put up on your situation based on the Word of God so that your desire can be established. The perspective implanted in your heart by the entrance of the Word of God. The positive Word that proceeds from your mouth by hearing, and hearing the word of God. It is the hardest currency that has the same purchasing power in every nation. It is spiritual legal tender. No “spiritual goods” can be delivered in the world of the spirit without the transaction of Faith (mark 2:5) By faith we are saved, healed, we stand, we live, and we overcome. Faith is the victory. It brings profit from the Bible. Without faith no man can please God. It is a potent force. It is a profession. Faith does not operate anyhow. Faith has its own do’s and don’ts; the ethic of faith called the discipline of faith. Operating the profession of faith does not permit you to think recklessly. There are things you must never think. It is a law, not an advice. You are just exactly what you think. “As a man thinketh so is he”. (proverb 23;7) Anything you don’t want produced in your life, you must not think. The thought of failure makes a man a looser. The thought of defeat makes a man a weakling, the thought of sin corrupts a man. Your dominant thoughts determine your word and action. Put your thoughts under check. Anything you don’t want produced should be prohibited in your mind. Faith should be what guides the choice of your words. Your situation should not determine the choice of your words and what comes out of you. It is a law, an ethic the disciple of faith, “Just as they have spoken before me I will do unto them” (Number 14:28). There are forces in the world that always bring to pass whatever comes out of your mouth. Anything you don’t want delivered must not come out of your mouth. A young new graduate had about a millionaire dinner. He borrowed suit and others to attend. That single meeting made Him a millionaire from that day. Do not always act what you see around you now; act out your desires, and act out your expectation. It is a discipline that will establish your victory anywhere, anytime. Begin to act it to become it. MAKE THIS CONFESSION YOUR PRAYERS: - Every evil thought, word and action contrary to my destiny is bound and forbidden in my life in Jesus’ name. I receive anointing on my mind, mouth and attitude today! PROPHETIC DECLARATION: - Receive the grace to abide by the discipline of faith in your walk with God in Jesus’ name!!!
