Authorities in the UK held a nation-wide Ebola response exercise on Saturday. This was meant to test the countrys readiness to deal with an outbreak of the deadly virus. The eight hour-long exercises took place at a series of undisclosed locations across the country. The exercise coincided with the planned introduction of Ebola screening measures at several UK transport hubs. Critics have questioned the screening programme - due to start next week. Englands Chief Medical Advisor said this would ultimately help protect the British public and the patients themselves.
