Authors//Bloggers//Creatives: I will be doing a ten-school speaking tour before Jan 2015. The speaking engagements will discuss mental health, abuse, depression, and suicide prevention. The talks will be in conjunction with the schools guidance counseling office and will provide free depression screenings. The sale of my Two Breaths Too Late novel will help fund this #HoldOn2Hope initiative. I am currently looking for sponsorships (particularly with mental health institutions), but I thought that it may also be a good opportunity for YA authors who want to get some targeted exposure. All attendees will receive a gift bag with educational materials and sponsor promotional materials. If youd like to put a bookmark or similar in the gift bags, then you can contribute $100 to the tour and send up to 1000 pieces of promotion material. It must be paper (flat) and fit in a medium sized plastic bag. The materials MUST be age appropriate for those between 12-17. Contributors will be reviewed before invoiced. Contributors will be listed on the website and will also be acknowledged in an email newsletter at the end of the tour. At that point, you will be contacted if there is a special online promotion that you would like listed. PM me if interested.
