Authors in the Team with One Voice Say: 1. “Nigeria Needs a Change” “But changes can’t be overnight…” The President is right! However, though we’re as one of the sub-core advocates (supporters) of democratic Government”, and also believe in “Democracy” as we’re able to see the brightness of his government from a realm of possibility, we must tell our government now and yet to come the truth beyond the issues of politics, that the desideratum of Nigeria is a total change─ and it must first begin from our mannerisms. Otherwise, no good change can take place in Nigeria ever, unless Nigerians in their visions for Nigeria start to build up generational leaders instead of producing merely potential leaders who don’t have the seal of true leadership but are only zealous to rule Nigeria. There’re errors in choosing our leaders─ permit me to say that the day Nigerians make the mistakes they have been making to be producing leaders who don’t regard higher authorities, nor have the fear of God, the downfall of Nigeria will greatly begin like what we see today which is just a start up like politics but to become an habit in few years to come. In our upcoming manuscript we will tell you about what we meant by “generational leaders” which are the raw facts of what we have realized in The President’s governance to enable Nigerians start developing quality leaders that will supplant the ad hoc trends and tendencies of his government (leadership). As this book is too light to bear it cynosure─ we limit the points here. 2. People and Politics! Most Politicians are very mordant. They can give you a day palatable diet to eat and lick your five fingers throughout the day and make you a fool to believe their fabulous words for eight years of their leadership. Except you know your rights and what you need beyond a day or two days’ transient offer(s) ─ and above an ephemeral food─ you cannot enjoy their offer(s) to last you (in their leadership) for the eight years of their dominion in Government. And it grows worse with the poor people when their abilities and voices can’t reach the fore of their leaders because they have nobody that will frankly and honestly defend their rights and render them their dues without politicizing or politicking their worth. I just remember when a certain group of people made couples of complaints on having poor electricity supply in their community. They needed replace their years’ long (or old) transformer which also contributed to the situation. About a few persons among them who led the poor masses of the community to join them in the protest against the poor power supply to their chairman’s office, were very prominent and because of their presence, the ”Chairman” paid them thorough attention and yielded to their demands. A new transformer was bought and installed successfully. For either a month or less, there was light in full capacity, and the people were extremely happy. But after one month the new transformer started fluctuating to low voltage that would last for a longer period. So the people who led the protest appointed some young people to take responsibility to serve each house a letter requesting for their contributions to enable them fix what they said got burnt in the transformer. Joyfully, the people contributed the first, the second, the third and the fourth times without any complaints as they remembered how the new transformer used to serve them. All these happened just in a year and half months. So the people got bored of the transformer and frequent contributions. They didn’t enjoy the light again more than what they saw initially when it was installed newly─ but only for three months intervals. After then they experienced a total black out. But the chairman was never at fault in this game as they used to call it, because he gave them the cash to buy their transformer; but the leaders of the host in protest against the situation played pranksters with the money and transformer. They (themselves) bought powerful-power plants and had light always─ only in their houses, and were contented; the poor people who couldn’t afford the money to buy “I pass my Neighbor”, as they have it called, remained in darkness. So as a result of this they went to the various houses of the leaders who led them before in the previous protest, and demanded their presence for a second protest, but they (the leaders) rejected them, therefore, the voices of the poor people couldn’t reach the chairman’s office any longer. Light only came occasionally when they were satisfied or had met the Chairman one on one in their big guys’ levels. Till the chairman stepped down, the condition was like that. Another government took over ─ it wasn’t better than to eat now and wash your hands and then wait for the one coming next tomorrow. Just like what we see today in most of our communities, even the states. But Mr. President, will surprise you with outstanding light that will last you longer in all walks of life as regards to meeting your demands in a full supply to upgrade your life’s affairs in Nigeria ̶ and this is no joke. You have once heard him said publicly not in a revelation: “… I will not disappoint Nigerians- I promise…”. The only problem you may have in his assurance to meeting your demands in Nigeria, could be from your state government, never from Dr. Jonathan, unless your state government strongly believes in good governance beyond the sense of merely politics that often thwarts people’s rights. Notwithstanding, it is only when you make a good choice and determine, how you want to run the Term-Time government with them either by living to be a mendicant for the eight years based on their options and how you’ve admitted their opinions to rule you. Or by having the means always available to you so you can solve most of your problems without you having to be begging through the processes of day to day submission of couples of application letters stating and soliciting for the same fact for your survival, is when you can rise above the shadow of their options; and if the response come(s), it comes at seldom (very rarely). That means if you dare to try it again next time you might not have it, neither be able to see them! Their government is always by trying your luck. We just recall when we went to the Chairman’s office just to say “Hi” we sat there at the reception with other people who needed some help. Some men and women were even weeping, some got annoyed throughout the 24/7; the Hon. Chairman didn’t come out till we all got bored and stopped going there to say ‘Hi’. But during the elections periods, we were able to see the honorable. And it is only when elections start politicians remember their people and the poor masses. They never mind going down on their knees before the poor masses just to buy and please their hearts at and for the moment─ but why? It is the kind of question an observant person will always ask. There is need for you as a Nigerian to choose a leader that will not over look you later. It is just our advice to the people concerned to enable you vote wisely at this very critical point in time that Nigeria needs a thorough change beginning from our various societies in the country to capture the interest of the entire nation. And it is only a democratic regime that can offer us the best we need in Nigeria. 3. Democratic Government: “The Best for You” Unless you believe in and vote for “Democracy” which is the choice, freedom and rights of the people (you rather), you cannot realize your eagle in you. Neither can you arrive at your fruition in Nigerian Government, because there are several complicated opinions most leaders in Nigeria have made to divert the right standards of Democracy; as democratic government will or is viewed to be the answer to your questions and solution to your needs: Without an iota of doubt, you shall reach the top of your dreams in Nigeria and beyond the coast if you choose wisely your leaders and still hold on your party as regards to (PDP) – you shall succeed even in this government. 4. The Present Government! Assuming Mr. President changed from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) it would have been a clear fact that he had another plan that would thwart the joy and progress of Nigerians, and nobody would have supported his politics (government). But still holding firmly on democracy, we can bravely say that there is a vivid hope of abundance of increase, joy and restoration for Nigerians. You can now rely confidently on his leadership (government). Because “His real administration for your progress and uplifting as a Nigerian, is about to take place in full to give you that thing you have been looking for”, as the host predicted. And you holding the referendum on Democracy together with us – you will smile in his government regardless whatever the devil does. Why because (q.v.). Column 7. 5. The Ugly Face of Nigeria, Sooner will Be Renewed The rancorous situations in Nigeria today, are never caused by The President. The situations are the big mistakes our past leaders and heads of state made and overlooked them to be the way you see everything falling apart today. The mistakes that falsify the foundation of Nigeria today in our generation were piled up from the government of one leader after another─ years long. A leader would come into power and continue from the mistakes his predecessor had made on the account of continuing from the visions where his past leader stopped ̶ building errors upon errors. Notwithstanding, we are not looking at this; God will help President Jonathan and his envoys resolve the situations in Nigeria in their best to remove the stresses of hard life in behalf of Nigerians; but every one of us (as Nigerians are concerned) has a role to play in these situations. We will remind you of it later in our next edition. We don’t just want to go back to our history for now. But has a fact, one of the problems is as a result of: 6. No Good Equilibrium in Nigerians’ Service Most Nigerians have neglected their obligations only to the government to handle. Running the system this way, Nigerians cannot have good jobs creation and opportunities etc in the country ̶ when the statesmen and women, and all the preeminent and prominent Nigerians and their leaders even the boys and girls are living in complacency. Let’s call it selfishness etc in the highest order. It is the phase of one of the problems we’re facing in Nigeria – even in the world at large. That is to say; “our bloody-mindedness is one of the causations (etiologies) which we will deeply talk about it sooner than later. So it is only the real humanitarian Nigerians (who represent us in the government, in addition to our individual’s support in one way or the other to build a judicious government that will always promote the interest of its people; not only by providing the material means (money etc) but by showing good habits even in time of difficulties without you being tempted to go and break an expensive glass that may hardly be restored or replaced in the strife to having our ever changing interests met-even thereafter might still be hard) that can change the ordeals in the country and get the situations balanced. Just like for example the good acts of: see more at revelationssupportjonathan2015.blogspot
