Autism Mums have been very busy this week! We were very pleased to be invited to attend a meeting with Senior represenatives from Autism Services in the Southern Health & Social Care Trust. The meeting gave our group an opportunity to present our views as parents on the services currently available to our children, particularly in relation to delays in diagnosis which has recently been publicised in the press. We are delighted that we have been invited to work closely with the Trust in relation to future planning of autism services and we hope that we will all be able to learn from each other and work in partnership for the benefit of all our children. Onwards and upwards for Autism Mums!
