Autism affects 1 in 68 US children...and I am mother to 2 of them. Early advocation and intervention are the key when providing kids with Autism with the best possible outcome later in life. Facing Autism leaves little to fear if you are brave enough and bold enough to challenge it head on, whether it is within yourself or affects someone that you love. Chances are, you have someone other than myself in your life touched by Autism. My wish is that you will take the opportunity TODAY to reach out to them, and let them know that you support the herculean effort they put forth every day in the face of it, because they are truly heroes.
