AutoCAD Draughtsperson Job description Hours of work: 37 Days of work: Monday to Friday Work include: Days Industry: Design and Creative We are pleased to recruit for a well-established business involved in the design and build of bespoke transport solutions. They are looking for an Auto Cad Draughtsperson who will work in a drawing office position in the engineering department. The perfect candidate will have some form of an Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience (Mechanical, Design, etc.) and experience in steelwork, specifically in the Automotive Manufacturing Sector – Trucks and Trailers. Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and/or Electrical Circuits experience would be an asset. The selected candidate will have good mathematical ability and should have AutoCAD Inventor or Solidworks experience/training. AutoCAD experience is a must. The Role: - Projects will include designing and developing solutions in the Automotive sector. - Produce engineering calculations to demonstrate Geometrical, Structural, Pneumatic, Hydraulic compliance where necessary. - Produce clear Bills of Materials Required, Parts and General Assembly drawings, written Instructions and costings. - Produce bespoke solutions from Initial concept to conclusion, liaising with the customer and other sub-contractors. - Work simultaneously on multiple projects.
