Autumn is arriving on schedule in Atlanta. Temps in the 60-80F range all week and low humidity, which means there must be a god after all. The leaves havent begun to turn so everything is still summer green and lush. The south has about a million shades of green. My office window looks out over the backyard, and beyond that, seven tangled acres of kudzu and ivy and pine trees. I spend a lot of time staring into those greens. Okay, so Im usually planning a horrible murder, but its incredibly peaceful. Im getting back to work this week on the 4th Keye Street novel, A Complete Stranger. So excited! Ive had a few interruptions, as most of you know. Im doing very well, by the way. I think Chemo should be my new gangsta name. Im kicking its ass. -Side note. Spellcheck just corrected gangster to gangsta, which proves I have no right even using the word, and my phone is way cooler than I am. Keye is looking forward to being back on the job. Yall know how restless she gets. If shes not moving she might have time to think. No one wants that. Cant wait to let her out of the box and she where she goes. I have a route mapped out for my fiery protagonist, but Keye doesnt always stick to the plan. Shes really a wonderful pain in the ass. Hope its beautiful and easy wherever you are this week.
