Ava Update - She is doing well! 3 pounds 10 ounces now! Growing like crazy! Shes still in her big girl crib, I would like to think shes enjoying it. :) I have had such fun lately dressing her up and snuggling her. Holding her now feels so much more like a real snuggle. When she was one pound and had her lines, and tubes and ventilators - it was really scary to hold her. Now Im able to get her out of her bed by myself and move positions with her if she starts crying. It makes me feel more like a mom to her. I also decided now is the time to start putting her and Liams room together! Before I was so scared to try to make a room for her, but now I feel like Im ready. :) She also weaned down from 2.5 liters down to 2 liters on her oxygen, and did well with that. This week we will try REAL breast and bottle feeding. She has pulled out her feeding tube twice in the last two days - so hopefully we can get her eating by herself and not needing that anymore! :)
