Avenue At Etihad Towers Welcomes Exhibition From Alif Art Gallery Abu Dhabi, UAE, 25 August, 2013: ‘AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS’ – Abu Dhabi’s first standalone luxury shopping destination – is pleased to announce that it is hosting the Alif Art Gallery exhibition with pieces by artist Azamat Khatamov from 5th to 15th September 2013. This marks the fourth exhibition to be held at the destination, reflecting its role as a centre for both traditional and applied arts in Abu Dhabi. Dubai-based Alif Art Gallery was founded by Natalya Andakulova to promote understanding of Central Asia’s rich art culture in the Middle East and beyond. Born in Uzbekistan, Azamat Khatamov is a sculptor and painter whose work has built an enthusiastic fan community worldwide over many years. Decorated with a gold and silver medal from the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Khamatov is recognised for his love of detail and complex visualisations. In his graphic work, plastic art compositions and portraits, Azamat’s art utilises smooth lines, clay, terra cotta, azure and bright green colours, with many pieces inspired by equine beauty. The Alif Art Gallery exhibition at AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS will showcase Khatamov’s distinguished masterpiece, ‘Dream Horses.’ Motivated by mixing elements and ideas that form in the depths of people’s subconscious minds, the white and green portrait reflects paradise and symbolises the innocence and simplicity of dreams for all humanity. Azamat is a member of the Union of Artists and has been teaching for many years at the Kamoliddin Behzod National Institute of Arts and Design, where he shares the secrets of his talent and techniques with young art connoisseurs. The Alif Art Gallery exhibition will be on display daily from 5th until 15th September 2013 at AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS.
