Awesome news!!. SURKHAAB numbers have been awesome, more than that actually, in the beautiful city of Vancouver, so Landmark gives us a week more. (at Landmark Guildford, Surrey) This is absolutely unheard of. For a small, independent film, to first get picked for the AMC independent program, for theatrical in the US, then in Canada, two of the largest chains to give us a theatrical and then for one, to extend our run to two weeks cause collection wise we are going head to head with the big boys of Bollywood and Hollywood. Theater is the direct correlation between audience and film with nothing in between and the real world and the real audience, is why we made SURKHAAB. Thanks to all the people of Vanc and also to the rest of Canada, cause the noise that was made in PIFF Toronto, is clearly zooming over to the other coast. For the other cities, today is the last day of theatrical, so catch a show if you can, else we will be making our digital (DVD + Satellite) foray, very shortly.
