Why do people feel like marriage is just a commitment of pure happiness and have the attitude, I am in it as long as I am happy? Marriage takes work and requires Jesus in the middle at all times but even then there will be trials to test the relationship. When we shut God out of our relationships then the enemy, satan steps in. It does not take a big crack and suddenly you have put him in charge. Jesus is our restorer, He can restore our broken hearts and broken promises. He can most importantly restore our souls back to God. Jesus loves us unconditionally and calls us to love our spouses the same. We are human and will always let our spouses down but we need to forgive them, learn from our mistakes and move forward. If you ever wanted to know your purpose this is it simply. We are here to learn how to love the Lord our God with all our heart, our soul, our mind and our strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We are to love unconditionally like Jesus loves us. Dont let your marriage just be a statistic among failed marriages, let God restore it and make it the strongest part of your testimony as a Christian. My Bible study time was in Hebrews about faith and I believe God is capable of anything. Give God the chance to Restore what satan has tried to destroy. Praise the Lord in all things
