Theyve even worked so hard at cleaning up gaming journalism that they ended up helping clean up all online journalism when they got the Federal Trade Commission to crack down on conflict-of-interest native advertising articles, that are really sponsored advertisements that look like news articles where the journalist site gets a percentage of the sales. Its strange that everybody wants to paint them as some sort of women hating group of unshaved white virgin men living in their moms basement, when theyve got this whole #NotYourSheild thing going on proving theyre composed of individuals from around the world of all ages, genders, races. As someone who loves video games, Im glad these guys are on my side!
