Campaign Nonviolencee and Occupy Beale Air Force Base took creative, audacious nonviolent action on Sept 30th. These peace activists committed civil disobedience at Beale Air Force base as part of Campaign Nonviolences Week of Actions (and their ongoing efforts). Here is a video of them doing the Dances of Universal Peace, blocking the road, and in the background, behind their singing, you can hear the military official on the megaphone telling them how they are violating the law. Dont you just love how disarming these women are in their skirts, singing and dancing? Brilliant. Campaign Nonviolence is a longterm effort to end war, poverty, and the climate crisis.
