Awhile back, something happened to me that was, quite simply, unjust. I remember saying these exact words to the Lord, God, they are wrong. They are wrong. They are SO wrong. I was angry. I was frustrated. I was confused. I was disappointed. I was hurt, and I became bitter. I could not understand how people who appeared to be so Godly, so righteous, so kind, and so loving could treat me so unfairly. I kept asking the Lord to give me answers, and then God showed me that I was putting too much trust in people, when I should be placing ALL of my trust in Him. Now, I am not saying that we cannot trust certain people or confide in them. What I am saying is that sometimes we have these high expectations of certain individuals, and we forget that all of us warrant growth, regardless of how spiritually mature we are. So I asked the Lord to fix my heart and to help me to forgive. It was not easy. It took some time, but God helped me. In this world, we will be treated unfairly. However, God sees everything. Oh yes, He sees it. Now, when we try to take matters into our own hands and strategize on how we will retaliate, then we do more harm than good. However, when we listen to the Lord and do things the way He wants them done, then we save ourselves some unnecessary trouble. You have heard this from me before, and I love to remind people of the following (as well as remind myself). Speak when God says speak. Be silent when He says be silent. Move when the Lord says move, and be still when He tells you to be still. Our flesh will always want to seek vengeance, but that is the Lords job. When God handles it, then He handles it, and VERY WELL, may I add. - Positivity Inspires
