NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2013 Wednesday 11 September 2013 6.45pm Axedale CFA Meeting Room All committee officer positions will be declared vacant for election. Election of Ordinary members of the committee will also take place. Nominations are sought from the Community for the following positions: • President • Vice President • Treasurer • Secretary Nomination of candidates To be considered for election as officers of Axedale Our Town – Our Future Inc. (AOTOF) or as ordinary members of AOTOF nominations must be: a) Made in writing, signed by two members of AOTOF and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate (which may be endorsed on the form of nomination – which can be obtained from the secretary), and b) Emailed to the Secretary of AOTOF, Helen Byrne (sh1byrne@hotmail) not less than 7 days before the date of the AGM (11 September 2013). ➢ If insufficient nominations are received to fill all vacancies on AOTOF, the candidates nominated shall be deemed to be elected and further nominations may be received at the annual general meeting. ➢ If the number of nominations received is equal to the number of vacancies to be filled, the persons nominated shall be deemed to be elected. ➢ If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, a ballot will be held.
