Ayo Fayose stands for Prudence: During his first tenure, Ayo Fayose made it a point of duty that civil servants and other categories of public servants were paid their salaries as and when due, on the 22nd of every month. Before the advent of his administration, teachers’ salaries were kept in private accounts but he put paid to that regime of delaying workers’ salaries and prioritized same as first line charge,making it difficult for any official to tamper with salaries.
