Ayurvedic Workshop Ayurveda is an ancient health care tradition that has been practiced in India for at least 5,000 years. The word comes from the Sanskrit terms ayur (life) and veda (knowledge). SPHSS intends hosting the renowned Dr Kanaada who hails from India and who recently set up practice in Durban. He is also a sitarist with special emphasis on healing. We believe that the one-day workshop by Dr Kanaada will be of immense value to our community but will only arrange such a workshop if sufficient people indicate their interest. In order to defray the cost of bringing him to Laudium, a nominal fee, dependent on the numbers who are willing to attend, will be charged.
