BACK-TO-SCHOOL CELEBRATION! FREE BACKPACKS WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES! TUESDAY, AUGUST 20 AT THE TD GARDEN PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED Come join The Salvation Army, Garden Neighborhood Charities, and the city of Boston for a one day back to school celebration for children and their families! Children and their loved ones will join together for fun and festivities, as well as receive a backpack with school supplies. Children will have a chance to shoot baskets on the floor of the Garden, play Bruins ‘slapshot’ and interact with fun activities. A broad range of ‘child friendly’ booths will also be set-up including; anti-bullying, child nutrition, exercise, dental, emergency preparedness, and drug prevention.
