BAD NEWS !!!! The Polish news agency "Polish Express" and "Warsaw Gazette", wrote an article of the horrific treatment of some 70 Yorkshire terriers being kept in cages at a breeders home in a town called Lomianki, some 25 km outside the capital Warsaw. The breeder is well known in the yorkie world and is a member of the Kennel Club in Poland and used to win prestigious titles at international dog shows. This is a terrible shock, to all breeders in the community. This breeder kept dogs in unsanitary conditions, without food, water or veterinary care. Dogs were kept in the same tight cages; full of faecal matter, urine and dirt. The animal rescue agency and the police and fire brigades were called by an anonymous tip-off. When the rescue agencies arrived on the scene on Friday, the stink of ammonia was so incredibly bad, that they were forced to use gas masks as they entered the basement, where most of the dogs were kept. Veterinary emergency services were ready on the scene to rescue the most abused animals.
