BADAL CONVENES MEETING OF TOP ACADEMICIANS TO REVAMP SRI DASMESH ACADEMY CHANDIGARH OCTOBER 28 (Bharatsandesh news) Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today reiterated his firm commitment to restore the prestigious glory of Sri Dasmesh Academy, Sri Anandpur Sahib thereby revamping its academic curriculum to emerge it soon as one of the leading educational institutions of the country. Presiding over a meeting of the Sri Dasmesh Academy Trust, Mr. Badal who is also the chairman of the trust here at Chief Ministers residence this morning, has convened a special meeting of eminent educational experts and academicians on November 3, 2010 at 4.00 pm at his official residence to chalk out the modalities to rejuvenate to make Sri Dasmesh Academy as an institution of excellence at par with renowned educational institutions not only in the country but across the globe also. Mr. Badal directed his OSD Mr. NS Sangha to invite VC Punjabi University Dr. Jaspal Singh, VC Guru Nanak Dev University Dr. AS Brar, VC Guru Granth Sahib World University Fatehgarh Sahib Dr. Jasbir Singh Ahluwalia, General (Retd.) JS Ghuman from Army Education Core, Principal St. Stephens School Chandigarh Mr. Harrod Carver, former Principal YPS Patiala and Mohali Mr. Harish Dhillon, Director Shivalik Public School Mohali Dr. DS Bedi and Head Master Punjab Public School Nabha Commdr(Rtd.) IL Syal to solicit their views to revamp the functioning of the Sri Dasmesh Academy to make it far more relevant in context to the present time to enable our students to compete globally.
