BALTO(A0984196) ****AFTER 13 YEARS I DIDN’T MATTER ANYMORE**** A volunteer writes: “Balto was my savior today.. I was really tired, having walked so many dogs in the cold and spending time with him was just a most needed moment of peace and quiet in my busy day. Balto was at first a bit all over the place. Then , he found his balance and walked beautifully on the leash. He wanted to say hello to every staff, standing on his hinds and kissing away.He did eliminate on the way but Baltos owner says that he is pee pad trained. Quite a number of dogs were met and Balto was cool with them. As we went to fetch some clean laundry, we encountered a few kitties and Balto seemed to like them. My best time with him was when he was on my lap. He seemed so happy, calm, at peace. He had found found his place , his niche and I was so glad to have made his day. Balto is such an easy dog to please, to make happy and just imagine what a wonderful time you will have with him.” Can you believe a dog like this was abandoned after 13 years of loyalty? People DREAM to have such a perfect dog. Balto needs a new friend, one that he can grow old with. Chihuahua’s can live a long life. But tonight might be Balto’s last night on this earth. I cannot imagine such a easy going, loving dog not being able to see tomorrow. But you can change that. You can open your heart and home to Balto. But do not wait until it’s too late.
