BAM! A half a day of painting and Lilins house looks like the brightest lemon crashed into a canary!! Everyone was beside themselves as brushes went back and forth, up and down, and the house became a beautiful yellow. Truly a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, Lilins family is watching a lifelong dream come true. On Chololis side of the street, it was all about Duke! The bright blue blended in with the early morning sky and emotions rose while brushes flew. Kevin Santos and Brian Poco Santos took the day to build windows, learning the process and putting the final touches on the shudders. And Celia was more than elated to see her roof go up! The framing got finished and the front porch was closed in. What was once a stack of blocks alongside the road truly looks like a house and is well on its way to being a home.
