BANGOR - MAINE!!!!!!!HAD TO SHARE! The first person I thought of when I saw this on Maine Public Broadcasting Network (MPBN) was Larry Soucy !!! I will never forget how I used to drive through Bangor blaring The Boston punk band the Zulus song Kings In The Queen City out of my car windows back in 1987! I was lucky to interview the band for my WMEB 91.9FM Radio Free Orono Regional Rock Shock (Friday nights at 6 Oclock), and their lead singer Larry, with his nick/last-name Bangor, told me that he took the name because he grew up there and that his father had once been the mayor of the city! Hi other Zulu: Rich Gilbert! The lead vocalist in the red dress I believe, if Im not mistaken, is Maine Democratic Party politician Emily Cain! This is a lot of fun!
