BANK ROBBERY: Danville (IL) – Danville police continue an investigation into a bank robbery this afternoon. Commander Jane McFadden said police were called to the Landmark Credit Union, 506 W. Fairchild Street at about 1: 20 PM, Monday with reports that the credit union had been robbed. “Officers were informed by the bank personnel that a young light skinned male black had entered the bank and had demanded money. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants. He covered his face with a black scarf and was approximately 5 feet tall and slender build.” The suspect left on foot heading southbound in the ally with an undisclosed amount of cash. Commander McFadden stated that detectives are interviewing customers and area residents. No other details are being released at this time.
