BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE HAVE YOU REPENTED ? Billions of people have been taught in err from childhood about Repenting Including my self There are ones who were taught that ( get on your knees and REPENT) Then there are those who go into a built box and tell another person on the other side an ear full ( believing they are Repenting ) There are those who believe exactly what the preachers teach as I myself was guily of doing ... Raise your hand and your saved, come forward and your saved, come to this alter and your saved Let us GO LOOK and DO AS THE WORD OF GOD TELLS US TO DO ! ...We know that God sent John John 1:6 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. Why did God send John ? Luke 1:13-17 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. John 1 : 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. Isaiah 40:3 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. HOW DOES ONE REPENT ? 《water unto repentance》 Luke 3:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, Preaching the Baptism of Repentance for the remission of sins; Matthew 3:11 11 I indeed baptize you with 《water unto repentance》 but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: What did Jesus make very clear ? John 3:3 , 5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (and ) of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Mark 16:16 He that believeth (and) is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. If you truly want to REPENT as both John and Jesus and others expounded , Go find someone who will baptize you in a river As Jesus expounded Unless you are PHYSICALLY BAPTIZED in a river John3: 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (and ) of the Spirit, ---->>>>> he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus expounded ! Matthew 28:19-20 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. .....Be Baptized In the Name of The Father ( THE WORD ) and of THE SON ( THE WORD ) and of THE HOLY GHOST ( THE WORD ) IN THE NAME JESUS CHRIST ( THE WORD MADE FLESH ) PLEASE UNDERSTAND ! BY THE COUNSEL OF GOD JOHN WAS SENT TO PREACH THE BAPTISM OF REMISSIONS OF SINS --> BY WATER UNTO REPENTANCE ! Look at Luke 7 : 30 ! But the Pharisees and the lawyers ( REJECTED ) --> THE COUNSEL OF GOD against them selves being not baptized of him Matthew 21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Romans 6:3-11 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, BUT ALIVE UNTO GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AMEN AMEN AMEN
