BARNABY BEAR – TIME UP MON 2.12.13 – not formally assessed – male entire mastiff x, brindle and white, chipped, dob 2005, quite small size of a female bull mastiff , underweight, clean in his kennel, walks well on a lead, travelled well in the van, was in the finders house with their cats, she said he showed interest but didnt chase them. Sniffed gromit through the kennel bars, tail wagging, not aggressive. Lovely, calm, quiet, friendly boy, big sad eyes, likes to be cuddled in his bed, has been checked by a vet, has a slight heart murmur, just a big teddy bear bless him. He was sent to vets as he had dark bloody diarrhoea which we have had tested for Parvo and Giardia both test results have come come back negative. Very quite, gentle, sweet natured , vets can do anything with him. He is stiff on his legs, he has very poor slightly deformed front legs. He is on steroids and antibiotics at the moment, still at the vets , gives you the impression he has had a very hard life. He is an older gentleman , a bit under weight but does have good muscle tone.We have decided to leave him at the vets to do his time and is a curled up in a big plastic bed with a duvet and cover on with heating on and is very snuggled and happy. contact Kelly-Joy Sargent Debbie Evans
