BASIC INSTRUCTION IN THE BIBLE:Gossiping and Malice The word of God(scriptures/bible) is not a complex book but rather a simple and straight book that the believer understands(1Cor. 2:10-12) He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him-Prov. 18:13. Gossiping is a common thing in churches(esp campus talk less abt older churches) which is forbidden in the scriptures because it breeds hatred and malice in the church which in turn makes that locap church ineffective(1cor. 14:20) Sometimes when a rumour/gossip is spread and the subject of the matter gets wind of it, he/she is offended and the bible tells such a person it is folly and shame unto him. Then said he unto his disciples, it is impossible but that offenses will come but woe unto him, through whom they come-Lk. 17:1 It is a fact that cannot be prayed away that offenses will come, but what shld we now do wen gossip are spread by our own brothers in Christ, ppl dat we shout halleluyah wiv? The bible says Love. Gal. 6:2, 10 To those who gossip put off this old man dat is dead in you(Rom. 6:6) and stop gossiping in church n outside. [31]Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice [32]and be ye kind to one another tenderhearted forgiving one another even as God for Christs sake hath forgiven you-Eph. 4:31-32. Remember you are a new creature(2Cor. 5:17) born of God(jh1:12-13), does God keep malice or tK offences? Then why you? Selah
