BATTLE OF THE KINGS What happens when you pitch 31 of the best motorcycle customisation shops against each other? We’re about to find out… There’s a battle royal brewing. The UK and Ireland network of official Harley-Davidson dealerships is to fight it out for the ultimate accolade of Kings of Custom. That’s 31 dealers vying to be the best of the rest and create the ultimate dark custom ride. Get ready for an exciting January! Harley-Davidson® dealers have been responsible for some of the most inspiring custom Harley-Davidsons known to man; from customer dream rides to bikes built specifically for competitions and their resulting titles, the variety is incredible. The question is: which bike will be the best? Some say it’s the taking part that counts, we say screw that. The gloves are off and we need your support. Proving just how versatile our rides can be, every official H-D dealership throughout the UK and Ireland will each take a standard Sportster XL 1200X Forty-Eight® motorcycle and work on it throughout January to showcase its own customising talent. The end result will be 31 stunning bikes based around the same skeleton but each with its own distinct, unique character… and a hell of a difficult decision in choosing a winner. That’s where you come in. From 9th February until 1st March 2015, you’ll be able to vote for your favourite finished machine to crown the true Custom King. Voting details will be released soon but in the meantime you can check in to our Facebook and website to track our build’s progress throughout January.
