BBC Launches New Global Business Sites New York, June 6, 2013 – BBC today announced the launch of two business journalism sections that will interpret global economic stories, trends and profiles to a personal level. The two new sites – BBC Capital and BBC Entrepreneurship – underline the site’s commitment to become a household source for business news and features. “BBC is no stranger to financial newsgathering – our new investment harnesses our extensive net of business reporting to deconstruct global economic news,” said Nick Ascheim, SVP Consumer Digital. “We’ve hired some of the brightest journalists out there and built a one-stop shop for personally relevant business news. We’re charging into business coverage with full force.” BBC Capital will provide unique content around the following business editorial pillars: — Leadership and Management – Decodes effective leadership strategies and the most important, but hard-to-explain qualities of the best leaders.
