BBC Radio 1Xtra Live kicks off tomorrow (15/11) at the NIA. Radio 1Xtra Live is usually held over four nights in different locations around the country but for its seventh year, the station’s flagship event will be packed into one special event at the National Indoor Arena on Saturday 15th November. The line-up - Rick Ross, Krept & Konan, Fuse ODG, Boy Better Know, Jess Glynne, Lethal Bizzle, Sigma, Tinashe and Mary J. Blige. The 1Xtra DJ’s will be in attendance in the arena whilst the show will be simulcast live on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra between 6 - 11PM and hosted by 1Xtra’s MistaJam and DJ Target. They will be bringing listeners the best of the live performances plus exclusive interviews from the artists on the bill. In addition, Trevor Nelson and A.Dot will present a one hour wrap-up show from 11PM. The event will also be streamed live on the Red Button and on the 1Xtra website from 7PM. 1Xtra’s Charlie Sloth, and 1Xtra Breakfast’s Yasmin Evans giving the audience the opportunity to enjoy the show from wherever they are. Last week, BBC Radio 1Xtra asked you for your best, original lyrics. They selected they favourites and got two local street artists GENT 48 and Newso 48 to tag them up on Billboards around the City Centre.
