BE CAREFUL BE CAREFUL....if you have an above the stove microwave do NOT rush to put hot bowls in or take them out. I was cooking ricearoni (I know I know) cooked it for 10 minutes ...took it out to stir and check and rushed putting it back in...hit the edge of the microwave and VOILA...boiling hot dish shattered and spewed red-hot rice and liquid onto my chest...fortunately presence of mind had me brush off the burnig rice and immediately put clean cold washcloths on area....that saved me a degree of burning I am sure...ouch....1st degree with a few blisters....HOWEVER..I am posting this for those with children that may use this appliance...unless they are tall keep them away.
