BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE YOU DIP YOUR PET IN FLEA DIP ---Yesterday, I dipped Axle in a flea dip ,we ate lunch then took our Sunday nap, When I woke up Axle was burning up with fever 105 ,he could not stand up or move, he was having trouble breathing and shaking . Carried him at once to doctor. They gave him a shot for his temp. and some meds to take and told me to take him home and wash all the dip off of him. So I did --he started getting worse --having like a seizre--temp still high --foaming at mouth and stomach swollen ---We took him back to the doctor they gave him something to try to sedate him--I really thought we were going to loose him.They did all they could do here ,but he was not getting better just worse. We all really are thankful for the doctor coming out not once but twice on Sunday to take care of Axle. We took Axle onto Spartanburg to see if anything else could be done. They started Axle on an IV drip and said it would be touch and go but his vitials checked out good so they thought he would get better. We finally had to go home and leave him there. They told us to call as often as we liked to check on him. We called later and they said he was doing good.Suzi , Kyle ,Kline & Ann were on there way to the beach and turned around at the beach and came home when they heard about Axle . They came back through Spartanburg so they could check on him -- he was awake and doing better --they let them see him and he gave them kisses, the boys were glad .He was transfered to a doctor here this morning so he could finish all his IVs .We called about him at 12:00 and he is whining a lot but still doing good. Hopefully he will be home tonight. It will takehim a week or so to recover.He will be one spoiled baby. Axle is like a baby,not a pet or dog. We have always kidded Bradley Richards Brandi Richards Bright and Chastity Richards Pittman that he was there brother .Well I guess they all believed it . They were as upset as I was yesterday . They all even came to the doctor and was very supportive. I love you all so much . Thanks for being there. Even grandma & grandpa showed up. Our Area 51 Motorsports & Buford Street Auction dog is going to be OK . Thank you all for your prayers. God does answer them.
