BE YE MERCIFUL AND NOT BEING JUDGEMENTAL. WHAT IS IN OUR MOUTH - TopicsExpress

BE YE MERCIFUL AND NOT BEING JUDGEMENTAL. WHAT IS IN OUR MOUTH TODAY, MERCY OR JUDGEMENT? LET US BE OUR BROTHERS KEEPERS, AND NOT OUR BROTHERS SLANDERERS. Matt:7:1-5:DO NOT judge {and} criticize {and} condemn others, so that you may not be judged {and} criticized {and} condemned yourselves. For just as you judge {and} criticize {and} condemn others, you will be judged {and} criticized {and} condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you. Why do you stare from without at the very small particle that is in your brothers eye but do not become aware of {and} consider the beam of timber that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, Let me get the tiny particle out of your eye, when there is the beam of timber in your own eye? You hypocrite, first get the beam of timber out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the tiny particle out of your brothers eye. APOSTLE PAUL SAID NO ONE HAS ANY RIGHT TO JUDGE:1Cor:4:2-5:Moreover, it is [essentially] required of stewards that a man should be found faithful [proving himself worthy of trust]. But [as for me personally] it matters very little to me that I should be put on trial by you [on this point], {and} that you or any other human tribunal should investigate {and} question {and} cross-question me. I do not even put myself on trial {and} judge myself. I am not conscious of anything against myself, {and} I feel blameless; but I am not vindicated {and} acquitted before God on that account. It is the Lord [Himself] Who examines {and} judges me. So do not make any hasty {or} premature judgments before the time when the Lord comes [again], for He will both bring to light the secret things that are [now hidden] in darkness and disclose {and} expose the [secret] aims (motives and purposes) of hearts. Then every man will receive his [due] commendation from God. Rom:14:4 Who are you to pass judgment on {and} censure anothers household servant? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he shall stand {and} be upheld, for the Master (the Lord) is mighty to support him {and} make him stand.14:10-13:Why do you criticize {and} pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you look down upon {or} despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God [acknowledge Him to His honor and to His praise].And so each of us shall give an account of himself [give an answer in reference to judgment] to God. Then let us no more criticize {and} blame {and} pass judgment on one another, but rather decide {and} endeavor never to put a stumbling block {or} an obstacle or a hindrance in the way of a brother. THE MEASURE YOU JUDGE OTHERS, THE SAME MEASURE YOU PUT YOURSELF TO BE CONDEMNED. Rom:2:1 THEREFORE YOU have no excuse {or} defense {or} justification, O man, whoever you are who judges {and} condemns another. For in posing as judge {and} passing sentence on another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge are habitually practicing the very same things [that you censure and denounce]. LET MERCY REJOICE OVER JUDGEMENT:Luke:6:36 So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these]. James:2:13 For to him who has shown no mercy the judgment [will be] merciless, but mercy [full of glad confidence] exults victoriously over judgment. LET THIS MIND OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST BE IN US, HE COULD HAVE CONDEMNED THOSE THAT ARE CAUGHT IN THE ACTS OF MISSING THE MARK, BE HE WOULDNT.JOHN:8:10-11:When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you? She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more. PERFECT LOVE COVER MULTITUDE OF SINS. 1Pet:4:8-10:Above all things have intense {and} unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others].Practice hospitality to one another (those of the household of faith). [Be hospitable, be a lover of strangers, with brotherly affection for the unknown guests, the foreigners, the poor, and all others who come your way who are of Christs body.] And [in each instance] do it ungrudgingly (cordially and graciously, without complaining but as representing Him). As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of Gods many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor]. Pro:17:9 He who covers {and} forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats {or} harps on a matter separates even close friends. 10:12 Hatred stirs up contentions, but love covers all transgressions.16:6 By mercy {and} love, truth {and} fidelity [to God and man--not by sacrificial offerings], iniquity is purged out of the heart, and by the reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord men depart from {and} avoid evil. Gal:5:13-16:For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh {and} an opportunity {or} excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another. For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another. But I say, walk {and} live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to {and} controlled {and} guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings {and} desires of the flesh (of human nature without God). CHRIST IS A FRIEND OF SINNERS, BUT HATE THEIR SINS. Matt:11:19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking [with others], and they say, Behold, a glutton and a wine drinker, a friend of tax collectors {and} [especially wicked] sinners! Yet wisdom is justified {and} vindicated by what she does (her deeds) {and by} {her children.} THOSE THAT STAND IN THE PLACE OF JUDGING OTHERS THROUGH THEIR RELIGIOUS POINT OF VIEWS, WHAT MAKES THEM BETTER THAN OTHERS? IF OUR HOLY RIGHTEOUS ABBA FATHER LORD GOD ALMIGHTY SHOULD ITEMISE SINS, WILL THEY BE ABLE TO STAND IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD? GOD RIGHTEOUS STANDARD IS UNATTAINABLE BY ANY MAN BORN OF THE FLESH, BUT ITS ONLY BY GOD GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THAT GAVE US A RIGHT STANDING IN GODS EYES. Isaiah:64:6 For we have all become like one who is unclean [ceremonially, like a leper], and all our righteousness (our best deeds of rightness and justice) is like filthy rags {or} a polluted garment; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away [far from Gods favor, hurrying us toward destruction]. LET WHO THINKS HE STANDS TAKE HEED LET HIM NOT FALL. 1Cor:10:12 Therefore let anyone who thinks he stands [who feels sure that he has a steadfast mind and is standing firm], take heed lest he fall [into sin]. THOSE THAT ARE SPIRITUALLY STRONG SHOULD BE ENCOURAGING THOSE THAT ARE SPIRITUALLY WEAK. Rom:15:1 WE WHO are strong [in our convictions and of robust faith] ought to bear with the failings {and} the frailties {and} the tender scruples of the weak; [we ought to help carry the doubts and qualms of others] and not to please ourselves. Gal:6:1-2: BRETHREN, IF any person is overtaken in misconduct {or} sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right {and} restore {and} reinstate him, without any sense of superiority {and} with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also. Bear (endure, carry) one anothers burdens {and} troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill {and} observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) {and} complete what is lacking [in your obedience to it]. THERE IS A CELEBRATION IN HEAVEN FOR EVERY LOST SOUL THAT IS WON BACK TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. JAMES:5:19-20: [My] brethren, if anyone among you strays from the Truth {and} falls into error and another [person] brings him back [to God], Let the [latter] one be sure that whoever turns a sinner from his evil course will save [that ones] soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins [procure the pardon of the many sins committed by the convert]. Matt:18:11-14: {For the Son of man came to save [from the penalty of eternal death] that which was lost. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray {and} gets lost, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountain and go in search of the one that is lost? And if it should be that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not get lost. Just so it is not the will of My Father Who is in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost {and} perish. Luke:15:8-10: Or what woman, having ten [silver] drachmas [each one equal to a days wages], if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and look carefully {and} diligently until she finds it? And when she has found it, she summons her [women] friends and neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the silver coin which I had lost. Even so, I tell you, there is joy among {and} in the presence of the angels of God over one [especially] wicked person who repents (changes his mind for the better, heartily amending his ways, with abhorrence of his past sins).
