BEAUMONT- by Haley Bull Not far removed from the streets of Beaumont, hidden in the woods under a gray sky is a home for the homeless. Some there call it Camp town. Billy Hays has lived there with his wife for more than a year. I actually had this at one time set up like a nice little home, but storm kind of took it out, he said pointing to trash and tents under a large tarp partially falling down. A can serves as a stove and pvc piping as a toilet. He has an RV where his wife sleeps, though it has no electricity.
