BEAUTIFUL KAIYA IS BACK AT BCAC, BALDWIN, MD. PLEASE SHARE. Kaiya is at BCAC, Baldwin, MD. Heres her story: Kiaya is spayed and microchipped. Below is from the original post from the owner back in August: Kiaya is about 1 1/2 yrs old now. I got her from the Baltimore County Animal Shelter 6 months ago. She has beautiful colors and know some tricks and commands also. She is crate trained and loves a little juice (gravey or broth) on her food in the morning and eats in the evening (dinner time) too. I feed her about 2 cups in the morning and two cups in the evening. She takes a bowel and pee around 7am (or 6am if you are an early bird) and that is after she is put to bed around 9pm in the crate the evening before. She will take another bowel and pee in the evening between 5-7pm after she has been in the crate since 8am when I go to work and will hold it till I come home. She knows sit, stay at the front door (without locking it) when I take the trash out, when she is in a sit position she will lay down on a down command with a point to the floor. she knows up to get up on a bed, couch, or the seat in your car (for a ride). She likes to get as close as she can when you are eating dinner (I eat in the living room mostly) but if you point your index finger from your chest outward away from you with a go command, she will go away from you. When she is persistent (seldom though) and comes back a second time I will tell her to get in there (the cage) and point to the cage and she will walk into it and stay till you lock it. Then let her out when you are done eating. She is not a barker much, unless she feels scared or angry....she plays a little rough when you play tug of war but likes you to throw it and she will bring it back alot. She will give you each front paw when you ask gimme your paw if you ask, also downif you want her off something (ie., bed furniture, etc.). She is a good dog but does need some training ...not to jump up on new people she does not know. She is extremely healthy and all shots and vacinations are current. She has also been spayed. she likes dog buiskets, and rawhide for treats. Dont give her too many cause it will give her diareha. She knows what toy means (her toys) and knows what bone means (rawhide bones). You can tell her to go get them and she will find them and bring them to you. I have not been able to leave her out of the cage when I am not home because she will chew what ever she wants unless it is all placed out of her reach. She will slip sometimes and go on the floor if not in her cage when you are not home...so I keep her in the cage when not home. she likes to be rubbed on her chest under her neck and is a little reluctant to get a bath, but once she is in the tub she will behave. That is pretty much everything about her....if I think of anything else I will let you know. I will get more pics of her and send them.
